Re: K*ttering Town Sold
Not quite Liam Beasant, but you have to wonder what's in it for him... Well if he's anything like Rafi Razzak, former owner of Basingstoke Town.... buy the club, spend nothing on it for 20 years, then hoodwink club supporters into selling their shares, evict the club from the ground and attempt to ...

Re: PAY WHAT YOU WANT! [ Sat 20th Apr ] v Shepshed Dynamo, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
A hard fought win today and a sweet shot to win the game from Ryan, but this one should have been wrapped up by half-time. It will be a nail-biter next week as well, can we get a two-goal-better result than Rugby? Well I think we can. Whatever level we are at next season I hope Cairo Taylor will sti...

Re: Three Game Run-in
For Cambridge and/or Coventry to go down that would mean two of the bottom three would each have to win two of their last three games and I can't see that happening. It's going to be two out of the three at the bottom and I think we are probably best placed of the three, (hoping I haven't jinxed it)...

Re: [ Sat 6th Apr ] v Anstey Nomads, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
Concentration, understanding, nous and tenacity, four qualities the visitors today possessed just a little in excess of ourselves to get the result. Fair play to them, they had the extra pace and ability and you can see how they have put together such an impressive away record. I thought we were goo...

Here we go then, tough game coming up, they are no mugs and they will have seen what happened at Harborough. I will be happy with an ugly 0-0, very pleased with anything better.

Well fan my brow, a superb result - congrats to all the team. A result that will send shockwaves reverberating throughout the football world. Gresley/Rugby 1-1 as well - might have a glass of sherry tonight.

Re: [ Mon 1st Apr ] v Harborough Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Let's just hope that Harborough are having what cricketers know as "the nervous nineties," ie when the goal of a century is in sight a batsman might have a wee bit of a mental wobble. Harborough Town is getting close to the title and we can perhaps hope to exploit a similar thing. I have n...

Re: Returning to the Dog & Duck
Asbestos. If I remember correctly a few years ago the club were looking for volunteers or anyone with expertise to help potentially reopen the stand, but I assume the cost was too much, or no offers were forthcoming. An asbestos survey was carried out, along with a structural assessment. Minimal as...
