Re: Returning to the Dog & Duck

I wonder if Welly are about to be shafted by their landlord, the same guy who was the reason we left. Is the landlord their chairman? I remember having a short chat with him once. It was a short chat as I got up and walked away from the man. I believe the landlord back when we were "evicted&qu...

Going to be an interesting night on many fronts, but particularly in terms of our playing squad. These are the players from the first team that we are able to select, as far as I’m aware: Lawlor, Empson, J. Wilson, Thomas, Pinto-Leite, Johnston, Corden, Inman, Ngwa (if he’s fit although I presume h...

Re: [ Sat 27th Apr ] v Walsall Wood, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

On the game again, what a mad decision for their penalty. I know technically by the rules of the game it was handball. But I also don't know how any player who has a ball hurtling directly at their face from close range isn't going to flinch and put their hand up. Hadn't seen it for a long time, th...

As long as Gresley don't win 10-0!

Re: Scott and Wyatt

They have certainly improved loads since they first joined the club. Especially Scott, who has plated out of position but still managed to score three goals. I'm not sure even Joe Merrill scored three goals from right back in a season! If they're released by cobblers, we must try and sign them strai...

I think the team for this almost picks itself with the amount of ineligibility

Re: [ Mon 1st Apr ] v Harborough Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

Harborough have literally been scraping wins recently with 90th minute wins and keft it late against Coleshill today. Surely this will come to an end soon but then again that'd what teams near the top do

Even is he had a place on the bench as a cameo role for the last 10 minutes. Tom Lorraine has been on the bench for the last few games, highly unlikely wit the intension that he'll come on. Anything is worth a try at this stage as time is running out, unfortunately it's not working out for luke emery

Re: [ Tue 26th Mar ] v Cambridge City, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME

This is pretty much make or break to try and save back to back relegation. Morale has to be at its lowest of the season after a fairly decent run. Survival is miraculously still achievable but even if we do stay up, its not exactly something to shout about. This has been 2 years of miserable results...

Re: [ Tue 20th Feb ] v Peterborough Utd U21 KO 7:45pm HSCSF HOME

Everyone stop being so feeble - we will stay up and win the whatever cup it is At the moment there is despondency due to the hammmerings in the past two results and the dread of the forthcoming games tomorrow through to April 6th. I don't think anyone expected any points v Quorn and Lye nor against...
