Re: A bit of fun

I don't think there will be one as such so it will be simply the case of the club announcing as wgen players re-sign or join. TBH they are pretty good at keeping us informed. I understand that Bully & Nabil have agreed to stay again. Quigs has joined Leamington - no loss there - while Jack Bowen...

Re: A bit of fun

Two of the 4 following strikers.
Leon Lobjoit - on loan from Npton
Sam Smith - scoring goals for fun in Oz
David Pitt - Brackley
Aaron O'Connor

Trouble is 2 of those 4 players would together cost more than 50% of Andy's weekly budget!

Re: New Sponsor

My post was trying to make 2 positive points from our players budget position. Firstly, to comment on how superbly Andy and his coaching staff have done to make the play-offs two seasons in a row despite having a lower budget than many other teams who didn't make the NPLD1S play-offs. Secondly, if t...

Re: New Sponsor

Yes well done to John for achieving this! Whilst I appreciate that attendances maybe lower at Kempston and, therefore, gate income is reduced, perhaps a little of this sponsorship money could be set aside for Andy's player budget which, if my weekly figure has been calculated correctly, put us in th...

Re: [ Tue 4th Apr ] v Chasetown FC, KO 7:45pm NPL1S AWAY

As always I agree with you Formic and as I said earlier it is the conversion of a greater percentage of those chances that might cost us dear. Both goals were bad goals to concede but the second one was particularly disappointing as I think we had 2 players trying to head the first phase header and ...

Re: [ Tue 4th Apr ] v Chasetown FC, KO 7:45pm NPL1S AWAY

This is getting too close for comfort now but a play-off place is still within our hands. It is true that you can only deal with whats put infront of you and we did that at the weekend winning convincingly but as I suggested on Saturday in my report what bothered me was the number of good chances th...

Re: Former Players

Sam's scored in 5 in 6 games but told me yesterday that it should be 6 (ie a goal a game) as he has not been credited with his goal in the 5th game.
