Fleet's match was called off last night as a result of laying water but it would seem it has dried out nicely according to their Twitter feed.

Cue a pitch inspection now they have said that. :ermm:

Looks as though there might be some heavy rainfall Friday evening/Saturday.
If game was called off it would give us a bit more time to prepare/ get any little niggling injuries cleared for the "big ones" coming up.
On the down side it would mean a mid week game to Fleet, one of our longest journeys.

I see Ploppies have two games a week until mid April. Wonder when the Hillier Cup Final will take place?

Fleet seem to have had a Jekyll and Hyde season so far. At home they have won 7 and only lost 3 but away they have won only once and lost 11 !

Fleet have updated us on their twitter feed

Pitch update @AFCRD bit of rain today but still totally playable and troublesome goalmouths covered! We will walk the pitch at 8.30-9am...

@AFCRD a ref will be on standby to come and inspect at 9.30 if we deem necessary ahead of your long journey! Will fully update on here ASAP

Despite overnight rain. Looks like game is ON.

I will be tuning in to Radio Diamonds.

Of the top 7 only St Ives and Kings Langley playing at home. So expect some points to be dropped, so long as it is not us.

0-0 then FT!

Egham and Kings Langley both win, St Ives and Chalfont lose - Royston were drawing at HT I think but I don't know the FT.

Interesting and potentially season defining week ahead!

Another late late winner for Egham to win 1-0 at Potters Bar. When will their bubble burst? Potentially could go 4 points clear IF they win their 4 games in hand over us. Have a feeling our match at Egham will be a big one!

We need to beat both St Ives and Kings Langley next week.

Royston held 1-1 at lowly North Greenford United.

Chalfont SP's challenge seems to be fading away. Had a feeling they were relying too much on Mendy's goals.

St Ives slipped up badly at home to lowly Aylesbury United.
