Does anyone care?
Three of the top six in our division are also the three worst supported teams.
AFC Dunstable av 95
Beaconsfield av 89
Chalfont av 79
Should any of these teams be promoted how on earth can they survive on those crowds?
Looking to next season, where we will hopefully be competing at Step 3, of the teams currently in the Southern Premier that are likely to be in the "Central" Division only K*ttering have better crowds than Diamonds. So dont expect great numbers of away supporters at Hayden Road.

I seem to recall when we were last in this division, chalfont asked not to be promoted. Not sure whether they'd want to do the same, but like you've stated, those teams would struggle with those attendancessussexdiamond wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 5:57 pm Three of the top six in our division are also the three worst supported teams.

Re: Does anyone care?
It’s probably the case with most of the teams in the top half of our league what is taken at the turnstiles matters a great deal less than what comes out of the Chairman’s / sponsors bank accounts. Sure they could all servive right up until the novelty wears off.

CSP certainly won't be able to opt out this time. Promotion is compulsory for qualifying clubs.TheIncognitoKid wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:47 pmI seem to recall when we were last in this division, chalfont asked not to be promoted. Re: Does anyone care?
We could end up being in the same division as AFC Telford next season who currently average 1032

I Don't think they can? I believe the FA are minded to force promotion on teams who finish in the relevant promotion spots to enable the new leagues are adequately filled.TheIncognitoKid wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 8:47 pmI seem to recall when we were last in this division, chalfont asked not to be promoted. More embarrassing gates yesterday, I know the weather wasn’t good but these Clubs are in the mix for promotion to Step 3.
AFC Dunstable 51
Beaconsfield 52
CSP V Hayes 135
Moneybags v Hartley 68
Also interesting to see the 2 FA Vase semi finals had a combined better attendance than the 2 FA Trophy games.
