So if my dodgy maths is correct, that's 39 tickets. £13,650.
Can't blame them for trying, but seems to have backfired a little bit. If Elite hadn't bought so many tickets, the competition would have been a shambles.

So therefore it wasn't a shambles, but it was hardly a success either.wewantourdarbyback wrote:But they did....DiamondsFan wrote:So if my dodgy maths is correct, that's 39 tickets. £13,650.

The chairman wins the sponsorship draw. Screams of a fix to me, but money is money.

Does KC own Elite Direct as well making it 14 tickets purchased by his companies in total?
Whatever, I think calling it a fix is being a little uncharitable, kinder to just regard it as being just another 'rescue act' by the chairman.

Saving face could be the motive but what does the future hold if this is anything to go by? :o

Not sure so about Elite Direct, but they are an Essex based company:Dougie wrote:Does KC own Elite Direct as well making it 14 tickets purchased by his companies in total? So therefore it wasn't a shambles, but it was hardly a success either.
