Bruno is effectively our Messi, he is a central part to almost everything we do attacking wise, no way can you drop him even if he has a bad game or two.

1-1 at Steel Park! Great result, 2 points behind Welly but with two games in hand.

Well you know what they say, good teams find a way to win even if they play badly and that was that game, we weren't at the races for large periods of the match against a hard working Sphinx side, but with the spirit and quality in this team, we still found a way to win.

Re: [ Sat 7th Mar ] v Rugby Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
It has the feeling of it all coming together at the right time at the moment, we have been on the cusp of being a team to challenge at the top of the division for many months but consistency, injuries and perhaps a lack of killer instinct to finish games off was letting us down.
But yesterday shows ...

5 or of the next 6 games against teams in the bottom 7, no game as this league has shown is a given, but this months games are a huge opportunity for us to set up a grand stand finish to challenge for playoffs in April!

And rain forecast from now until kickoff as well, probably inevitable its another postponement sadly, despite the club posting pictures of the pitch looking better yesterday, very annoying!!TheIncognitoKid wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 5:51 pm Is this game in any doubt of being called off, been raining alot today?

Re: [ Tue 20th Jan ] v Anstey Nomads, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME
Think I'd go as far as saying Bruno's first half performance was one of the best performances I've seen from a player in AFC's short history, outstanding and close to getting a hat trick. Under no illusions about him being with us long term as he certainly could play at a higher level, but hopefully ...

Re: [ Tue 20th Jan ] v Anstey Nomads, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME
Good win on Saturday and positive start to the year, but if we are to really have an impact for the rest of the season and challenge for playoffs, this game is a huge opportunity to send a message to the rest of the league against a team that I would say are pretty nailed on for a top 3 spot. A win ...

Re: Former Players
When asking Twitter/X's AI companion, it seems to think John Joe O'Toole, which if correct would be a bonkers signing for us for someone who was playing league football less than 12 months ago. We shall see if that's right...Stourbridge_Diamond wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 3:19 pm Intriguing post on official social media - a legend returning?
