Re: Sam Brown

Does this mean no more Brownie posts on here? Oh you should be so lucky!!! I’m hoping to get duel registration so can continue on here until banned. Some nice posts on here which I’m sure Brownie Junior will appreciate, my only moan would be the raising of money, you’ve all watched, spoken to and g...

Re: FA Discussion about next season

Steps 1&2 start earlier, presume as they won’t be in FA Cup and steps 3&4 possible will be. Are steps 5&6 also starting earlier because they won’t be included in FA Cup this season.

Re: FA Discussion about next season

Today's announcement about returning in October only seems to address senior pro football ignoring grassroots. Surely the way forward is for clubs at our level and below to start PSF games in mid August with an intention to start competitive games mid Sept with the government constraints in place w...

Re: FA Discussion about next season

Rather than all nonleague start on the same date, I would prefer Steps 5/6 start first then Step3/4 and finally Steps 1/2. The lower leagues need to start earliest as they have much smaller crowds and need to play extra prelim and prelim rounds of FA Cup. I agree but the F A seem to have little kno...

Re: Retained list

How are clubs managing to throw money about when there’s been no math day income since March and won’t be for who knows how long??!! At the moment they are only saying what they will pay, come september\October they may discover they don't have the money and by Xmas players will rejoin the merry go...

Re: Retained list

Nabs off too, big shame but don't think he made as big an impact in his second spell as he'd have liked. Started well but it fizzled out pretty quickly. He's got a 3-game suspension to serve once football resumes. Hicks is a massive blow and he'll be very hard to replace. Comfortably our best playe...

Re: Retained list

On the standard Stratford 4 month contract, sign good players, fail to turn them into a good side, cut the budget at Christmas, players depart, finish season with whoever will play for you cheaply. Don’t give up on Hicksey it’s only June for a season unlikely to start before September I’m looking fo...

Re: Former Players

They like switching between the group of Clubs below Birmingham, the midlands marauders appear to be on a par with the good old Lincolnshire mercenaries from our UCL days. Give them another £10 pledge to win the league and when the music stops see who’s where. Problem is for us to attract players a...

Re: Former Players

Ben Ford has not been offered a deal for next season so leaving Bedford, seen him a few times since he’s been there and always done ok often playing in midfield. All the best to him wherever he ends up.
