Re: Workington
They were away at Harrogate tonight. Good point! I'm sure their official site said they were at home when I looked at it earlier. I swear they changed it just to make me look stupid! Twice in one day Dave, whats going on!? :? :o :D I don't know, it's scary! Hopefully just post Christmas depre...

Re: Workington Away (FA Trophy 2nd Round)
Looking at the forecast for Friday, I expect the game will be called off by Friday evening if not earlier. Workington's game tonight was called off this morning, and the conditions look even worse for the end of the week.

Yeah, good luck to him. He did a great job for us and it was disappointing to see him leave, although understandable given the circumstances at the time. I'll even forgive him for scoring against us earlier in the season. ;)

Re: Workington
I had a peek at the Workington forum earlier and they've unsurprisingly called off their match that was scheduled for tonight. Most of them are already anticipating our game on Saturday to be postponed as well.

Re: All Time Diamonds XI: Goalkeeper
Worgan would win easily, just for that error at Orient... Which error was this? I seem to remember seeing a Diamonds keeper mistake on the "Taxi!" bit on SoccerAM a few years ago... the keeper in question left the ball as he thought it was going over the bar but it actually landed by his ...

Re: New Years Eve
I reckon the club will be on to a real winner once the hotel is built, I can't really come to any event such as this because I'd want to have a drink and can't be arsed to get a cab all the way back to Bedford, but I would come to events such as this and stay over if there were a hotel on-site, a r...

Re: Worrying financial times !!!!
What makes it even worse is that 2 of the games we've missed out on would have brought bumper attendanes and far higher gate receipts than we usually take. I'm sure the away side take some of the gate receipts, albeit it only a small percentage (unlike the FA Cup where they are split 50-50), so we p...

Re: Paris Cowan-Hall
On another point does anyone have any idea how the lad who went to Liverpool is getting on? Was his name Adam King or something like that? Aaron King is his name. His (brief) profile is under the Academy section of the Liverpool website, but he hasn't actually played a game for them yet. I wonder i...
