Re: [ Sat14th Mar ] v Boldmere St Michaels, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
As it’s been said many times before, if you do not play anywhere near your level in this division you can struggle against any team and that was evident yesterday. Even though we were dominant first half I thought we were very average and never got out of 3rd gear. Just looked so off it all over the ...

Comfortable win, did what we had to do without really getting anywhere near top gear. Rugby looked a poor team. Onwards and we keep moving up the league.

Big game, a win would really put us in the mix but a draw wouldn’t be too bad. I think Carlton and Anstey are obviously top 5 but the other 3 places are very much up for grabs.

Re: What chance Play Offs?
Play offs are possible but I think maybe a bit too far realistically. If we had some of those dropped points we would be very handily placed. Would need a very decent run of about 10 games to be in the mix and a few extra players. I agree that hopefully we keep the base of this squad for next year ...

Not a great game, thought we looked poor to be honest. However it’s about the points at the moment and good to get the 3. The new keeper looks very good. Hopefully we can go on a little run of wins but some tough games coming up.

Surely the biggest “free hit” we have had for a long time!

Re: [ Tue 14th Oct ] v Bourne Town, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME
Just lacked that little bit of quality up top which is understandable with the players missing. Obviously the disallowed goal was a shocker but it’s a point and we move along nicely. The league is very unpredictable and a win last night would have put us 6 points off top! Nobody running away with ...

Very poor first 70 minutes not helped by the 2 injuries early on and a penalty not given in the first minute (looked very clear from where I stood). Too many mistakes and the defence looked all over the shop. Better last 20 when we played a bit like ourselves.

A winnable home tie and then a big national league north club in the next round. Just don’t want Corby, Anstey, Harborough or real Bedford. Something different makes it more exciting.

Re: [ Sat Sep 20th ] v Coleshill Town, KO 3pm FAT2RQ AWAY
Let’s see what amazement the draw throws up! I’m going with what’s left in our league, Anstey, Corby, Rugby or Basford. Or for the obvious, K*ttering.
