Re: [ Tue 22nd Oct ] v Banbury Utd, KO 7:45pm SLCP HOME

I’m really looking forward to this one, it could be a turning point in the season! Saturday steadied the ship and built confidence - tomorrow let’s build on that point earned! I’ve got my grandson staying with me this week and he’s so excited to be coming to the match! He’ll be proudly wearing his n...

He’s a good lad, fast, nippy, will make mistakes and bad choices from time to time, but I can take that - he’s a breath of fresh air frankly and I applaud his direct approach!

Table tonight - Tuesday’s match is shaping up to be quite important isn’t it?

Decent point on the road - I wasn’t there to see it as I had to work, but it stops the rot! Was watching through Twitter updates - now on to Tuesday with a bit of confidence in the bank!

You could be right, but he’s earned the chance to try !! I always expected this season to be tough, we just need to support the guy imo - heaping pressure on him won’t help.

Re: TODAY! [ Sat 12th Oct ] v Coalville Town, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME

Academy manager at cobblers, very unlikely he will leave a full time job to come to us, hes more likely to get the cobblers managers job soon listening to their fans He could surely do Saturdays tho . And carry on at the cobblers You are massively underestimating the time and effort that Peaksy put...

Bad results, poor performances, mistakes on and off the pitch, poor choices on and off the pitch, disappointments.....they all happen from time to time in football! Zac was unlucky, where I was no way did that look a red card! Jack’s was nailed on, no arguments and was stupid beyond belief! If you r...

Re: [ Sat 14th Sep ] v Royston Town, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME

I think Dove has lost a few pounds and is getting more match fit - I thought he looked sharp today, as he did at Redditch (I missed last week). We all see games differently, I thought that was 2 points dropped - great competitive match, but with the chances we had we should have won - but a greatly ...

I really enjoyed that match, 9-0 winners! Won at a canter! Thoroughly entertaining, best £2 I’ve spent all week and an opportunity to sample the Burgermonster’s awesome wares! Shame so few were there to see it given our history and where we started. I’ve only watched two under 18s matches, this one ...

Re: New ground

Well, I personally know two people that wouldn’t go to watch matches on 4G pitches because they hate the experience - by all means have your plastic pitch, will that bring you back to watch matches to replace those that currently do? And please don’t tell me you’ll create more revenue renting the pi...
