I've been a supporter of (both versions) the club since 1995 and have never been a member. I attended the inaugural Pemberton Centre meeting and was not convinced even then that fan ownership was the right way forward. It still does not stop me supporting the club and wishing them well.

According to my calculations - which may be slightly wrong - if we score 2 in this game, which I admit at the moment seems unlikely, that will be 1000 goals since we started as AFC Rushden & Diamonds!

Very sad news. Condolences to the family. Kit used to sit behind us in the South Stand at Nene Park and I have followed her brave journey through her illness. You don't have to be a player to be a true Diamonds legend.
