Re: Returning to the Dog & Duck

My reasons are mixed and admittedly somewhat illogical. I didn't really agree with member ownership as I feel this leads to cliques and certain parties having undue influence. Re: Returning to the Dog & Duck

I've been a supporter of (both versions) the club since 1995 and have never been a member. I attended the inaugural Pemberton Centre meeting and was not convinced even then that fan ownership was the right way forward. It still does not stop me supporting the club and wishing them well.

when he finally decides to retire I hope he comes back to score his very last goal for AFCR&D. He must have over 350 league and cup goals now but his first few were for R&DFC

Re: [ NEWS ] RIP Kirsten (Kit) Dzeryn

Very sad news. Condolences to the family. Kit used to sit behind us in the South Stand at Nene Park and I have followed her brave journey through her illness. You don't have to be a player to be a true Diamonds legend.

Re: Former Players

Before the Womens' Euros start next week, England's captain Leah Williamson was a member of the R & D Centre Of Excellence a few years ago - although she was only 9 at the time!

Re: Former Players

John Ruddy - 4 appearances 2005/06 season - came on as sub goalkeeper for Wolves in their big game against Manchester City yesterday. I'm not sure whether we can count him as an ex-player but Ade Akinfenwa also played in the play-offs for Wycombe - his Diamonds contribution was 1 game as an unused s...
