Because apart from AFC R&D, of course, the Steelmen are the only club in Northamptonshire on the up. ;)

As for going to NP, b******s to that, I shall be travelling the two miles to Steel Park and for a mere fiver see the mighty JP Marna ...

P.S I cant really understand why its good to see Diamonds fans at Corby, but there ya go. Like 2oD said, be good to see them back where they belong next year!!

.....because now that I cannot go to NP on a Saturday afternoon or a Tuesday evening I miss seeing my Diamonds fans, after nearly 20 ...

Today at Corby we had a visit from Nuneaton, managed by Kevin Wilkin and Gary Mills in squad but sadly injured and Wilko's close friend Nick Ashby was in attendance.

Picking up on your comment about Histon, Tony, they appear to be completely unrecognisable from the team we use to play - no giants, little spoiling tactics, hardly any aerial ball and small nippy forwards. Livermore has certainly got them playing in a different style.

I'm loving it over there!! It really reminds me of Diamonds about 15 years ago with all of the enthusiasm and everyone is so nice.......for me I had to walk away from Diamonds when it finished as it was too upsetting. Some people will probably say that I should go to the AFC but I couldn't do it ...

You may even know me as many people do, I used to run the Turnstiles at Diamonds.......
