Re: How do you rate this season?

I certainly agree about Wilson, Dallas and Hughes. If they had all been fit for most of the season our defensive record could have been 10 goals better. (And if David had been with us from the start)
That's not to take anything away from Tejan and Charlie but they are best deployed in midfield ...

How do you rate this season?

Obviously a much better league position, never any fear of relegation and just a brief hint of play offs at one point.
We played 2 more games but only scored 6 more goals than last season. Only the relegated teams scored less.
The defence was much improved 61 goals conceded, 78 last season.
Not sure ...

Re: [ Mon 21st Apr ] v Corby Town, KO 1pm NPLD1M AWAY

The defence has an excuse, so many injuries to key players.
Our main problem was lack of goals. The Birmingham binmen are better strikers than any of ours.
Also a lack of a commanding figure in midfield and too many signings just not good enough for Step 4.
I am not very optimistic for next season ...

Where does it say that Porter is leaving.?
I can think of at least one former player who would be good for the role and popular with the fans.

Both sides had abysmal games yesterday, so who is going to pick themselves up?

Just the reaction I hoped for. Johnson, Burrows and Adams on the scoresheet.

Harrison as a striker could do no worse than the present lot.

Re: Non League Day 22.03

The answer to improving attendances is blindingly obvious. Win matches. Doing just that not so easy though.
I will always contend that most people will come to see a winning team even if every game is 1-0.
The potential for 500-600 is out there. I now live 150 miles away but get to about 10 games ...
