Re: Am i mad or is it possible....
We would have to be exceptional but even then, the others above us would all need to have cataclysmic downturns. I'll settle for the play-offs and hopefully a great day out... :D Well the cataclysmic downturn may be Chester Folding and suddenly the distance shrinks to 8 points which is not a mounta...

Cambridge Utd
How long can Ling last i wonder, also if Chester go pop Cambridge lose 6 points and will i think plunge to 2 places above the relegation positions.
Whats the odds (if Cambridge can afford to pay off Ling) of Mark Cooper getting the job fairly soon.

Re: Am i mad or is it possible....
Anything is possible, i know it was a different time when we had money but we caught Hartlepool who had a massive points advantage and won the 3rd Division.
Its all about composure and confidence in the remainder of the season and then anything can happen.

Re: Rumour has it............
Good news for us in a roundabout way, if Cooper had been a success then other League clubs would take a punt on Non League managers with JE on the list.
So now hopefully League clubs will now decide its too much a gamble and we can continue to build and move forwards.

Re: workington match
That's a totally dispiriting result for me. We took our full-time professionals on an overnight stay the day before the match, then they proceeded to get beaten by a team of postmen, bank clerks, window cleaners and bricklayers. That's why I can't see us making the play-offs, we lose the odd game w...

Re: K*ttering in 8 days
Covers, we are talking Kettrin here, do they have covers. :?:
It has been mentioned on ploppynet that the pitch is rock solid and the frost has penertrared upto 8 inches into the surface, without a sufficiant temp rise any rain or thaw would sit on top for a while and not drain quickly.

Re: K*ttering in 8 days
Depends on how deep the frost has penertrated the pitch as it may take more than a couple of days of higher temps to thaw out the playing surface.
