Re: FA Discussion about next season

Lots of Issues, one is Local lock downs if there are spikes in the Virus, without fans games cannot be played, so if an area go into lock down say 2 months that causes a massive game backlog a season may have to be over 2 normal seasons so you could have a 20-22 season with games in Summer of 2021 a...

Re: FA Discussion about next season

I,m afraid Covid 19 is with us forever as is the bubonic Plague or its common name the Black Death, its still lurking in countries and areas with low hygiene. The scientists first thoughts were using the herd system so that we built up our own antibodies to combat the Virus but then looked at the Fi...

The Future of Football

It looks like this Virus will be with us well into the future and the chance that no vaccine may ever be found so where does that leave the Future of Football. Be honest, if no vaccine is found and we have to live daily with Covid 19 would you go to a football match again ? Do you think they should ...

Re: Will we play again this season.

I think the weeks suspension was to allow the Government/authorities to come to a agreement on what a mass gathering means in numbers. For a lot of clubs at our level and below a max restriction of 500 would mean that clubs could continue the season, yes we do have more than that so do a couple of m...

Re: [ Sat 12th Oct ] v Coalville Town, KO 3pm SLPDC HOME

Typical Football Forum Win a dozen games and the Forum is quite as a mouse, no praise except form the usual few suspects and 2 pages of comments if your lucky , then loose a couple of games then the Forum is suddenly populated and its sack the manager and five pages or more of comments. It would be ...

Re: [ Sat 7th Sep ] v Enfield Town, KO 3pm FAC1RQ AWAY

Not so long ago people on here were bitching about the price increases, now its we should push the boat out a bit and spend some cash on a decent striker, err that means price increases or ask the fan base to put more money in unless of course that money tree has now started to flower for these extra...

Re: New ground

I would assume Hayden Road is still the target for more housing, moving AFC and Rushden and Higham United out to the new recreational zone situated around The Moulton College Area of Higham. Step 4 facilities would be very adequate for Rushden and Higham without the need to spend money on ground imp...
