Were any of the Irthlingborough Trust (Tony Jones and the Megane crew) there on Thursday ? I wonder what their view is of all this - let's hope they cut off their donations pretty quickly. Perhaps they might advise the AFC group - clearly Tony Jones has a lot of relevant experience.
I was ...

Re: Fall Guys
I don't dispute that. I just think that in the end she has shown herself to care more about generic football in Northants rather than the clubs involved, including Rushden & Diamonds. Laudible in some ways, and maybe this type of franchising is the inevitable future for football. In my view though ...

Re: Fall Guys
I'm pretty much with you Pressman, but I think the blame list extends to ALL stakeholders in our club (including the fanbase) since the fateful transfer deadline day of 2004. The blame is now consigned to history anyway and the only relevance it has in my view is for our legacy and how other clubs ...

Fundraising Idea
As a dull accountant, "sales" or fundraising ideas aren't my strong point, but here goes. Shoot me down in flames if its sh*te!
It strikes me that the fundraising really falls into two camps; large volume small donation and small volume high donation/sponsorship. The latter is a more strategic ...

Re: Calling all London-based fans - fundraising idea for tonight
Judging by some of the comment on Conference Forum, I think we might get better support from league clubs.
Most fans of larger clubs I come into contact with recognise R&D, remember the Leeds game and generally seem well disposed to us. In the non-leagues we seem less popular, sadly.

Re: Time For Action
No idea if it's permissable but if we have any London based fans bucket collection at the FA Cup final might generate a decent return. In particular look out for the gentleman in Arab robes - they might be the City owners and they have a few quid ;)

I have sent you a PM regarding CVA. I prepared some notes on CVA for everyone on here to read, but want to tie this in with the information on the League's view on CVA and their sanctions, as its crucial.

Re: Time For Action
I might be able to help on 16, having previously set up a CVA for another business a few years ago.
On the general listing, I think to someone who has his ear needs to speak to KC before Tuesday as we need to know what his position is and what he can/can't/will/won't do. Then we can target the ...

Re: Creditors' meeting
I think a fans group of some sort is essential to show the creditors that Rushden & Diamonds does have a future.
Looking from outside they might see the poor uptake on Season Tickets and think that means we don't care about our club. We have to show them that we do in whatever way possible.

Re: Bit of encouragement from JE....
Sadly, I suspect Justin may be of the people who come & go he was referring to. What a professional he is and how well he has conducted himself this season, and continues to do so, with all that has gone on. JE, I salute you!
