Re: [ Sat 21st Mar ] v Lougborough Students, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY

I feel sorry for the management and all the volunteers who have to deal with the fall out of this.

Same here, it will have been a tough afternoon followed by a really tough 24/48 hours. ES is well aware that the registration deadline is fast approaching so time is short if he feels the need to ...

Re: Diamonds Forum

It was censored way back in the NP days along with the name of our rivals down the A6 and a couple of other 4 letter, unpleasant words.

Re: Harriman Departs

It is really difficult trying to keep everyone happy and, having been in this situation many times, I really feel for the Board. Whatever they decide to do, someone will be unhappy. However, it’s only right that part-owners are given more information than non part-owners. That’s the way the club is ...

Re: [ Sat 25th Jan ] v Quorn, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME

Thanks for that info Alex. I’d add that the inspecting referee has to speak directly to the match referee when he does the inspection. The match referee in this case, clearly didn’t ask enough questions or wasn’t given enough information.

Should also add that ultimately the decision is always with ...

I didn’t go but I can see a team putting together a consistent set of result which whilst not setting the world on fire will be more than enough to ensure a mid table finish. It’s pleasing to see and hope it continues. The manager will always want more and that shows ambition which is good too!

Re: Walsall Wood

Whilst I appreciated the efforts going on behind the scenes and I’m sure they’re grateful for the NPL’s support so far, I agree this situation cannot continue indefinitely. It’s simply not fair of the rest of the league and surely brings the integrity of the NPL into question.
I wouldn’t wish for ...

Re: [ Sat 17th Aug ] v Newark & Sherwood Utd, KO 3pm FACPR AWAY

Well, the “road to Wembley” turns into a cul-de-sac for us yet again, that illusive cup run eh? Gutted, not just because it’s the cup, but for the loss of much needed funds! But, we are where we are!

I reckon the club has earned around £6k, maybe more, over the 3 games taking into account the ...
