Re: Weymouth 0-9 Rushden & Diamonds...memories required

Quite a lot of people made a fair few quid on this day! The bookies were a bit late to change the odds not realising that we’d be facing a youth team! Did the Weymouth keeper ever make it as a footballer? He was given a well deserved man of the match, on the day it could have been nearer 20 if it w...

Re: Weymouth 0-9 Rushden & Diamonds...memories required

Hello! Weymouth fan here! I’m currently writing a blog on “that” game for the Weymouth website and wondered if anyone who travelled that day had any memories of the game they’d like to share?! Thanks in advance! Duncan Didn't go to this one myself, but here's a link below to our write up to the gam...

Re: The Future of Football

I am hopeful of resuming at our level Sept maybe Oct. Abolish Cup comps except FA Cup and just play league matches. Thing is, we do rely on a good amount of prize money from cup competitions. But I would agree not to play them all. Maybe play the league cup as well as it's regionalised or the hilli...

Re: Favourite AFCRD season to date

UCL prem winning season for me. Great feeling when we won the league, starting to face some quality on the field, brads late equaliser against Wisbech. Closely followed by the first season. Getting the new club up and running into senior football and knowing this was the beginning of better things t...

Re: Will we play again this season.

I don't imagine the Premiership being put off til January. So if they get crowds of 50k surely non league Steps 3 and below who rarely exceed 500 should be allowed to re start. In fact our level should start first to test the water. We are supposed to be "all in it together". Whenever we do eventua...

Re: 2 questions...

Jon Dunham came up with a good idea, that afc, K*ttering and Corby could play some sort of friendly tournament, as a money spinner to get people through the gates. Playing a prem or championship team would be a good idea, but they may well be finishing the current season during our pre-season

Be a strange situation if the season is decided on a ppg ratio, sports are promoted and we've never actually faced them!

Re: Will we play again this season.

How would you decide who wins the cup competitions? Surely they would have to be voided if the season is decided on a ppg ratio
