Re: [ Sat 16th Nov ] v Alvechurch FC, KO 3pm SLPDC AWAY

There's often talk about an opponent being a "Pub Side", but Alvechurch must come pretty close to one, with such a variety of shapes and sizes of players, constant haranguing of the referee, and generally poor play. I thought they were a step below any team we've faced at this level - and I can't r...

Second penalty kick in a row missed. Now why doesn’t Bully take them? :hmmm:
because he's missed a fair few himself
Surely gotta be Jack ashton's turn or Sam Brown?

Re: Favourite/Best AFC R&D XI

Not easy this and made harder given some of our best wide players didn’t score enough and couldn’t cross a ball. So there has to be an argument for Gearing or Rogers in there if we are comprising a team. I’ll start with my worst as a little easier. Shorunmu Wilkinson Gillingwater McDonald(C) Lee Mc...

Some strike by Nathan hicks as well, volleying home from the edge of the box. It flew in so quickly, nobody had time to cheer it due to the disbeif. Having said that, all the goals were taken well and gosnal-tyler put in his best performance in a afcr&d shirt.

Re: [ Sat 9th Nov ] v South Shields FC, KO 3pm FAT2Q AWAY

For me, having a daughter play for diamonds under 16 girls on a Saturday morning, puts pay to my chances of making an away game like that. As it does with some of the away league fixtures. If I had the chance to go to this one, it may well have rested on the flip of a coin, doing a lot of driving fo...

Niall Cooper

Has tweeted that he's left the club. Basically due to the lack of opportunities and game time.

Re: [ Sat 26th Oct ] v Banbury Utd, KO 3:00pm FAT1QR HOME

Well don’t know about others but I enjoyed that, Tuesday we hung on for a 2-1 win, today we hammered them 0-0 still that’s football. Given the conditions there was some decent football played though I’m still struggling to work out how we didn’t win, I guess at the end of the day we can’t blame any...

Also have to add that what a massive difference have Sam Brown back has on the team. Such a solid and reliable player to have in the team, who must have been close to motm. Much more like it from the team, which reminded me of some of the gritty and determined performances from previous seasons. Lik...
