It was a decent performance overall, plenty of effort and some attempts to play the ball on the floor. I'd still like to see us take more of our chances. Some great crosses from Bruno which deserved better, but that can be worked on. He reminds me of Fazel Koriya.
A point is something to build on.

I'd certainly see if they can do 1 night's training on the pitch itself this week even if it's just passing the ball around on the ground. I thought we looked a but uncertain as it's a bit bobbly and it seemed to get stuck under player's feet at times.

Re: [ Sat 2nd Aug ] v Grimsby Borough, KO 3pm FACEP HOME
Jeez, FFS and what the hell come to mind after my 3rd game watching the team, with no goals and yet another early cup exit. ES certainly has work to do. I'm not convinced by the formation so far, it lacks a creative midfielder and cutting edge. I see Tshikuna has moved again but he's exactly the ...

Re: [ Tue 29th Jul ] v Harborough Town, KO 7:45pm PSF HOME
Yeah, it was a good performance against the nouveau riche Harborough who obviously have at least 10 x our budget and should go on to p!ss their tinpot league this season :joy: Especially if they get refs like the one last night, I hope he didn't send those 2 yellows in after he refused to do the ...

Re: 2025/26 Squad
Have we found some of the Brinks Mat gold?

Well, we certainly have options upfront now. He looked a right handful last time he was with us, let's get cracking.

Re: 2025/26 Squad
Will Mellors-Blair agrees terms, another statement signing. I reckon we should make top 10 this season.

Re: Former Players
By my reckoning we still need a left footed left back with a decent throw in , any contacts?

Re: 2025/26 Squad
Another strong signing by the management team. We haven't seen this quality of players since the AP days.rickthediamond wrote: Tue Jun 10, 2025 6:38 pm Lewis Elsom, previously of Peterborough Sports, joins the Diamonds for 25/26
