Re: Playoffs
Belper and Warwick both win on pens. So Carlton bottle it yet again.
Matlock lose also, so no more games for Bruno.
There was a bit of complaining on X that teams were bringing in "better players" for the play offs, but still losing.
Good, they should stick with the players that did the hard ...

Re: COMMUNITY DAY [ Sat 25th Apr ] v Coleshill Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
Fantastic atmosphere and vibe to the day yesterday, such a lovely and deserved way to end an entertaining season.
The whole club feels like its on the up and moving in a good direction, play offs next season 🙏
Agree with this, was just a shame the win was thrown away un necessarily. I heard the ...

It very much sounds like we got another duff referee. Next season management will need to assemble a team that can power past those kind of problems.
Sounds easy enough doesn't it?

Corby Town
I see they've announced they're going down the Community Interest Company route once their chairman steps down. They've got a hell of a lot of work ahead of them and next season could be their most difficult for some years. Maybe some players like Toll will become available?

A very satisfying result and good performance from the team. Also nice to slow the moneybags down and hopefully put a dent in their play off aspirations.

What a shame we are fizzling out in front of goal, we missed 4 glorious chances to win this game. It's all about getting some pride back against our current hoodoo team on Monday. To be honest I'd take 1 point all day long, every game for the rest of this season.

Re: [ Sat 28th Mar ] v Bedworth Utd, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
We've certainly seen some great football this season, with the odd flash of WOW, where's this team been all season? It's underperformed in my opinion so somewhere this team has a softness that needs addressing for next season. For me Joel needs to be further forward in this side. There's a great ...

Re: [ Sat 28th Mar ] v Bedworth Utd, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Thank goodness we have enough points on the board that we don't need to look over our shoulder. Can't see us winning another game this season.
It certainly has that feel of an end of season doesn't it? We've lost our attacking edge going forwards and now injuries are finishing us off. Come on ...

Re: [ Tue 24th March ] v Belper Town, KO 7:45pm NPLD1M HOME
It's a shame we lost because until our young keeper made the first mistake we looked more than capable of getting a result, in fact we were playing some good stuff. Playing with 4 youngsters on the pitch they didn't look out of place. The second goal (which wasn't coming) deflated us a bit, but we ...
