Very well said. I thought the previous board handled the previous "squeeze" on finances really well, with the series of full and open statements about the predicament, making it clear what might be done - such as this one - https://www.afcdiamonds.com/club-chairmans-statement-19th-march-20...

Saturday is also the Ladies Day event. (Diamonds Ladies & Girls teams in attendance) https://twitter.com/AFCRD/status/1577690084014538752 We don't seem to get much news on how well these teams are progressing these days. Perhaps a general update on the OWS is in order, as since 2016/17 there ha...

Re: [ Tue 11th Oct ] v Nuneaton Borough, KO 7:45pm SLPDC HOME
Until we get a new manager on board, and they have managed to bring a significant number of Step 3 quality players in, using their contacts, reputation and status in the game, it won't really matter who is in temporary charge. We are now down to two players who played in the corresponding game again...

How many times have you seen chairmen picking the team? It never works.

Re: [ Sat 1st Oct ] v Hednesford Town, KO 3:00pm SLPDC AWAY
Hednesford have signed 2 experienced senior players today. That's just not fair. I guess they have the budget and contacts to do so. One wonders if our inabilities to find good local talent coincides with the departure of Mark Hedges in his Football Liasion role on the board - he spent so many succ...
