Re: [ Sat 17th Sep ] U23s v Corby White Hart Locos, KO 2:30pm NCLP HOME
This has been drawn to my attention but I am not sure it fully answers all the questions that fans may have regarding funding etc when we must have one of the smallest playing budgets in the division and whilst I note the continued desire of the Board to place such emphasis on Youth development and...

I posed a question after this team played Roade at Step 7, and no answer was forthcoming, so I will try again. We tweeted that an Academy U21 side faced Barwell Under 21 on the same day as this U23 side faced Roade. A Barwell youth team looks more like the sort of opposition we ought to be facing if...

Re: Someone has to start it
I was trying to remember whether we've given two of his teams a spanking when his budget was rather less than it is now - Woodford 0 Diamonds 6, and Diamonds 7 Doughboys 0 spring to mind, but maybe he was only assistant manager for one of them.

The corresponding game last season - back in February - proved to be Andy Peaks last match in charge, with the victory taking the team into the playoff places. It's perhaps notable that of the 13 players that took to the pitch during that game, only two appear to still be with the club - https://www...

No I don't because as you should know that is not the right thing to do - and a good try on your part! You will be pleased to know Scott that I am going to take a break from posting on here for the next couple of months. I'm going to try and be patient and give Matt Ward and his team a chance to so...

Now I'm really confused! As well as this victory over a step 7 side, we have tweeted that an Academy U21 side beat Barwell Under 21 on the same day. That looks more like the sort of opposition we ought to be facing if players are to make any kind of step up to the first team, yet it seems to get nex...

Re: Hillier Cup
Formic you're good at rules etc. If anybody can play in the Cogenhoe game, then I cannot see any reason why this could happen. No player would be cup tied, trialists were eligible so the only thing I can think of is someone requiring international clearance? The Viking didn't play as he was awaitin...

Re: Hillier Cup
So if that’s now null and void, last competitive win was 16th April. Since then we’ve had 8 league games, 6 losses and 2 draws… If we want to count pre-season too it’s 14 played; 1 win, 9 losses and 4 draws. It's none too clear whether the game is null and void, or it is just we've been thrown out....
