Re: Absolutely No-one....
I'm still surrounded by Luton fans at work who are convincved they'll be in the play-offs and that we will fade and wither, my boss is convinced that Luton will probably be runners up or better, he refuses to believe they will not be a top 2 side this year..............blind passion???? I like being...

Re: Altrincham run-in
I think Luton's is the easiest to be honest - Stevenage and us of the top teams !!
8 of the scum's games are at home - where they are crap (or have been!!).

Re: "CONFIRMED" K*ttering NOT allowed in play-offs.
I think if they were to change the rules part way through the season then there might be a legal challenge to that by clubs who could be perceived to lose out. The Conference is run in a shambolic fashion, we all know that, but they followed the rules precisely to expell Chester to prevent a legal c...

Re: Just got back..
I honestly don't give a toss if we were totally rubbish, playing crap and winning is the stuff of Champions. We'll come out of this patch of poor play (not form as we're doing well) and hit top performance levels just at the right time - for the play-offs. I will now be officially gutted if we don't...

Re: Six of the best
While we're on the subject of best, I still think this has to be the best goal scored by a Diamonds player EVER, irrespective of what the vote a while ago said ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PWVmAWHhgA Whilst Billy's against the Knobblers, or Heggs' against Leeds had the X Factor in terms of exc...

The Scum?
Just read this: http://www.northantset.co.uk/sport/Wrack-Please-keep-writing-Poppies.6127916.jp Am I missing something here? Can they compete in the play-offs if they make it? I thought that as they haven't sorted out their ground issues and can't be admitted into the FL that they wouldn't be allowe...

Re: Realistic targets?
Champions. Thats the stuff of dreams now - I think the title is just a very distant dream. When you look at the games each of the sides at the top end of the table, Luton are the side that have the "easiest" run in. During the last games they have to play just Stevenage and us, all their ...

Re: Realistic targets?
I still think we will just miss out. Lets face it, i know we had 10 men for the vast majority of the game today, but penalty aside we created absolutely nothing. Not a serious chance anyway. We haven't scored from open play since Wolleaston scored against Stevenage. I'd love to be wrong of course. ...

Re: Rushden 1 (Tomlin pen 11) Histon 0
Thanks to those that were there tonight for the summaries, as you can see from the pre-match predictions thread, I went for a narrow hard fought 0-1 and that's what it sounds like it was. The table (after the Chester points are deducted) looks well good !!! 4th on merit and just a point behind York ...
