Re: TODAY @ 10AM [ NEW MANAGER ]

Excellent news! He gives a very good interview too - perhaps the Lottery might get a boost now people realise their money will be spent wisely. (it would be good to have advice on how to increase a monthly stake). There's a good report on his initial spell at Biggleswade Town, including how he took ...

Re: AFC Diamonds on EasyFundraising

We certainly used to have that facility - I remember publishing stories about it on the OWS in its original design - e.g. https://www.afcdiamonds.com/raise-club-funds-while-you-shop/ Quite whether it is still current would be the domain of the Fundraising team - I'd guess Glenis would be a good pers...

Re: Finally we can move on!

He conveniently forgets to mention the team lost 7 of the 10 games he was in charge! I can't imagine many others describing that as a success.

He obviously thinks a future employer might review his twitter feed.

Re: [ Sat 26th Nov ] v Rushall Olympic, KO 3pm SLPDC AWAY

I honestly think with Chris Nunn appointed instead of Burge, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are now. That's fairly obvious. There were several complaints when Maxwell was appointed from within and the under 23s, people were annoyed at the prospect of bringing players in from the UCL, we now sack Max...

Count me in with the lottery too. It doesn't seem that prominent on the club website at the moment though.

Re: Former Players

I see Nathanael Ansu is on the leaderboard for the leading scorers in the FA Cup so far this season. Perhaps another example of a player who we've let go too soon?

Re: [ Sat 22nd Oct ] v Mickleover FC, KO 3pm SLPDC AWAY

I think the amount of K*ttering fans that seem to have joined up in the last month or so and seem to just be on here to stir stuff up, means that people should be using the members forum rather than tearing each other apart on here. Well said. I've pretty much given up reading some of the diatribes...

Re: CATALYST

Very well said. I thought the previous board handled the previous "squeeze" on finances really well, with the series of full and open statements about the predicament, making it clear what might be done - such as this one - https://www.afcdiamonds.com/club-chairmans-statement-19th-march-20...
