Good news for us in a roundabout way, if Cooper had been a success then other League clubs would take a punt on Non League managers with JE on the list.
So now hopefully League clubs will now decide its too much a gamble and we can continue to build and move forwards.

That's a totally dispiriting result for me. We took our full-time professionals on an overnight stay the day before the match, then they proceeded to get beaten by a team of postmen, bank clerks, window cleaners and bricklayers. It has been mentioned on ploppynet that the pitch is rock solid and the frost has penertrared upto 8 inches into the surface, without a sufficiant temp rise any rain or thaw would sit on top for a while and not drain quickly.

Depends on how deep the frost has penertrated the pitch as it may take more than a couple of days of higher temps to thaw out the playing surface.
