Would imagine it’s about protecting the pitch. No point having an U18 game on a sodden pitch, cutting it up and potentially causing problems going forward.

I thought he looked really lively when he came on for a cameo at Kempston. Thought we wouldve slotted in on the left of a midfield 3, but Rogers has certainly done the business and made that spot his own since returning.
