Re: [ Tue 12th Jul ] v Loughborough Uni, KO 7:30pm PSF

Peaks had the benefit of Ty Deacon, who in fact scored a brace in his last match which coincided with Peaks last match in charge. The lost of Deacon and then Collard through injury was the two factors in us not finishing in 5th place than the change of manager.

Long overdue a decent FA Cup run although we’ve had a few tough matches at the opening stage over the last few years.

Re: Former Players

To be fair Fairlamb was impressive for St Ives last season….. He was actually injured for most of last season. Played a few games at the start and according to a less than impressed St Ives fan that I spoke to on New Year’s Day ‘broke a fetlock’😂 but appeared in the last month or so. Nothing specia...

I think £9 is ok for friendlies but what a great idea rdusher, it would be great if there was a way to be able to buy a ticket with your membership number or via a members link or something at a discount, don’t know if it is possible with ticketsource. As all members have a membership card surely i...

Re: Former Players

Deacon signs for Tamworth. There's a surprise. Where do Tamworth train nowadays? Probably now within 10 miles radius of Northampton otherwise it’s a fair way for all these Northants/Bucks players to travel on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Trust that these players and coaching staff have the nous t...

Re: [ NEWS ] Pre-Season Fixtures released

I hope Burge uses the PSF matches to gel the team/players he intends to sign. I can’t help feeling that our terrible start to last season was possibly caused, in part, by the matches against lower ranked opposition and Peaks insistence on fielding as many as 5-6 trialists in every match. It took unt...

Isn’t there a limit of how many players another club can sign from a team in the same league?
Surely they’re not our players once the season has ended as they’re non-contract or not on a contract that has yet to end?
