Re: Anstey title?
Thanks for that Richard. Spalding have two "easy" matches to play. Khalsa, who lost heavily on Saturday, and Coleshill so any slip up by Anstey against Corby could hand title to Spalding. If Anstey should win the league it means that either of Harborough or Spalding will be with us next s...

Re: Three Game Run-in
I suspect the point for Cambridge today might just make them safe now. It would require two of the bottom three to win both of their last two games to drag Cambridge down which seems unlikely now.

Realistically where else can it be in Northamptonshire? Especially given the police are going to want it segregated. Brackley? Corby? Peterborough?

Three Game Run-in
So the final equation is starting to become clearer. Three games to go. 9 points on offer. How many points will be sufficient to stay up? I'm throwing Cambridge into the mix given their atrocious form. It would seem that Shepshed will play a significant role in this relegation battle. AFCR&D Bol...

Re: [ Sat 6th Apr ] v Anstey Nomads, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
Losing to the form side is no embarrassment, but results elsewhere put a real dampener on today. Gresley have picked up more points than us over the last 6 games so it's going down to the wire. I think Cambridge are in real danger of being dragged into this going into the last couple of games. They ...

It's a massive result. Regardless of performance, its a point gained snd drags us out of the bottom two for the first time since August.

Given the Gresley result, that was about as Must Win as it comes. Glad the lads were able to pull it out the bag!
Six games to go, one point separating the bottom three. How are your nerves?!

Winning 2-1 at HT but Gresley are also winning, 2-0 against Khalsa. This could turn out to be a very pivotal evening in this relegation battle!
