Re: Rene Howe and Sam Gargan
Howe looked very good last night. Forceful in attack and with a good eye for opportunities both for himself and other teammates. Linked up well with Tomlin. Let's hope they can build on this partnership - for Diamonds, not Peterborough! Gargan wasn't on long enough to judge but he did make one good ...

To Jemfy - you're being too pedantic, mate. ANYTHING to do with Billy Sharp is Diamonds related - an absolute legend.

Re: Beer Festival
it was a praiseworthy effort to raise awareness of the Diamonds facilities. Plenty of tasty beers and ciders on offer and interesting music. The electric problems obviously didn't make things any easier but well done to the staff for coping well under pressure.

Re: Parking??
it was the usual car park stewards collecting and I think the money went to the club. It annoyed me at first but then I thought it was a rare opportunity for the club to make a bit of extra cash to pay for police protection, etc. so I coughed up willingly.

Re: Will we see him back again??
I was being tongue in cheek, although there is an element of truth in my comments - but I don't think it would be in either the club or Burge's interests for him to return - unless he wishes to aim for the record appearances for Diamonds title. I think he is currently 3rd.
