come on haven't your heard the news (fake) that every Tuesday prior matches fans can pay £50 and come to training on a Thursday, the Manager will pick the best and then they will be registered to play to following Saturday a great money spinner i think.

I had a feeling that the announcement of resignation was a last ditch effort to get an offer to save them that is why they did it with a few weeks to spare before the AGM.

Of course they have lots of applicants, about 80% of them will be from teenager Football Manager Wannabees and about half a dozen of the applicants will want a super budget of mega money to tale them to the European Cup final in a few seasons.

They've made a mistake in hiring a manager who hadn't managed since George Bush was the president of the USA, given him far too much time, their chairman and people involved in the club have mocked fans who called for him to be sacked - looks to me like a recipe for a toxic and fragile future. He basically was not going to keep spending the funds that some of the fan base wanted him to do, in other words he was not going to bankrupt himself or the team chasing the that age old dream of the football league.
