Re: [ Sat 17th Aug ] v London Colney, KO 3pm FA CUP EP AWAY
I was told on Saturday that it was London Colney's largest ever crowd excepting the visit of Watford FC a few seasons back. Their secretary was telling me before the match what a big club we were  it was as if he still thought we were still a League One club. ;)

I hope you put him right, "we were in league one last season, this season we are in the Premier"

The website "Soccerway" has got a bit confused by the fixture:

The results and attendances are on the FAs site:Formic wrote:The attendance has now been confirmed as 430. It was a really impressive turnout - I don't think there's any way we can find out how it compares to other FA Cup games over the weekend - but I can't see too many games in the competition having more than that at this stage. Perhaps it might help us to get a bit of coverage for the replay on the FA site and in the local press.

You have to click on each game to see the attendance and ours says 400, so it's not a very good effort from the competitions organisers.

400 is generous, 430 is pie in the sky. Unless people stayed on the coach I'd put it at no more than 350.

Looking through the list of games i'm yet to find a bigger attendance than ours. The closest was Bishop Aukland V Tadcaster Albion which had a crowd of 359.
Yaxley V PNS on Friday was 292 which appears to be 3rd best.
76 watched Spalding beat Eynesbury. 88 watched Wellingborough.
There's a few around the 200 mark, and Hoddesdon who we might face in the Vase had a crowd of 283.

Hopefully none of the 76 at Spalding were concessions, then as long as they all paid £48.50 each the wages bill would have been covered
