Music for the Players to run out to
Music for the Players to run out to
Your ideas and thoughts are needed please on which music the players should run out to. If needs be, we'll run a poll on it early next week. It may be an idea to include a YouTube link to your suggestion as it's very likely that I won't have heard it if it's that new fangled music makarky ;)
Please post your ideas below; some suggestions so far:
Hi Ho Silver lining - Jeff Beck
Uprising - Muse
Shine On - The House of Love
Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes - Paul Simon
Light From a Dead Star - Lush
The Official Colourbox World Cup Theme - Colourbox
Life is Sweet - Natalie Merchant
We Will Rock You - Queen
Diamonds are forever - Shirley Bassey (Bond theme)/Arctic monkeys

Well volunteered.Trek wrote:Hi Ho Silver Lining - Slade version. ;)
Priority is, however, to sort out the rubbish PA first. :o
Do you have a ladder?

You can borrow my ladder but I'm 20 miles from the D & D and have no means in getting it to the ground and also have zero expertise in such matters but the fact remains that it's a waste of time thinking about music, as Formic has inferred, when the existing PA can only be heard by those standing on the social club verandah.AndyKirkup wrote:

If we believe the PA to be important then perhaps we need to employ an outside specialist to sort it out.
Re: Music for the Players to run out to
of course the PA needs additional speakers in the new stand and the Peter Ebdon stand, it is in hand to sort out but hasn't been as much of a priority as other things.
i think the idea of the thread was to put some ideas down as to what they can come out to which you may only hear near the clubhouse for the first game of the season but which you will be able to hear elsewhere later on

Thanks for that bozzer. Just loved the retro approach to announcing the raffle winners at the Luton game when the lad had the 50's style board with the winning numbers parading in front of the Peter Ebdon stand.

I think you are right. Slightly changing the subject but there appears to be a very dark spot on the floodlighting immediately in front of the Ebdon stand and we were discussing the other evening this problem.bozzer wrote:i think the speakers were last turned on in that stand about 1950!, so we are going to have to get some new ones and put them up
