What improvements would you make at the D&D?
Re: What improvements would you make at the D&D?
£50k towards funding our own place in the Rushden area really. There has to be a point between where we go from putting money in to improve the D&D and where we start looking for our own ground.
If it was to the D&D then terrace at the far end.

That's all very well but it's like being in rented residential accommodation. You might as well make it as comfortable as possible while you'll there. I think we'll be playing at the Dog n'Duck longer than many will think. We've yet to identify a suitable site.AFC Airmart wrote:Keep the money for moving the club back to the Rushden area, imo that should be our focus. Why spend money on a ground that we hope to leave?

They are on the left as you enter the clubhouse. The facilities are not really sufficient for crowds of 500+. It was a real scrum at half time during the game against Oadby.Hayden wrote:Me either  I presume they're in the clubhouse somewhere?BartonRaz wrote:I don't even know where the toilets are at D&D.Trek wrote:A mobile toilet block would suffice subject to drainage.
Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building.

How much would a 3G pitch cost? If its a lot more than £50k though, then either an extension/larger PDB that runs the length of the pitch and a small stand perhaps the size of the current PDB at the other end.
