"And all last seasons squad have committed to the club for next season, except Westbrook". To be honest I'm not so sure about that.
Assuming Westwood and Punter are no longer considered part of the squad that still leaves two or three I would not be unhappy to make way for fresh faces.
Agreed there. Been more than fair with a few of them.

I see Dan Clifton has signed for St. Ives.

I heard that Ben Diamond was going travelling and that a couple of others were considering moving down to a new Step 4 club.
I would doubt that John Dean, Ben Acquah and Sam Johnson would be happy to continue as bit part players.

Think you'd put Joe Curtis and maybe Jack Bowen in that catergorie as well

I think he means the match day squad that he had at the end of the season.

Is it time we started worrying about the lack of news coming out of the club, regarding new signings?

The usual time for player announcements is the first few days of July. We are currently nine hours into the month so I think you can relax. I believe registrations are only valid from 1st July, so any announcements prior to that date can and often are cancelled by the player.

I can understand the logic behind not announcing anything until around now, but it's a bit boring for us. Especially when we're watching all other clubs in the league announcing signings constantly. Doesn't do much to build excitement and probably doesn't do much for season ticket sales either.

I'll start to think that we haven't brought anybody new in, if we haven't heard by the end of tomorrow. You'd think the club would announce any new faces as soon as registrations become concrete. My guess would then be, we have a number of players as trislists to look at during pre season to see if they're worth signing.

Not too worried about not announcing anyone, we've had some players signed up early that have barely played then gone immediately and that's always been the case. Maki, Spriggs, Smith, Dillon, Wreh, James Hall all come to mind. We usually sign our best players halfway through the season anyway.

Jefferson Louis is currently looking in the area for a 2 bedroom flat.
