Nuneaton have continued to add to their squad this week, including more signings being announced today. It could either be a good time to play them, or a nightmare.
I do think we're 1 short at the moment, possibly 2 depending on the formation the manager wants to play, but overall I'm more enthsiastic about the business that's been done this summer than I was last year.

Wasn't quite the game I was expecting. Without looking particularly threatening I thought we were decent value for the lead at half-time. I don't think he did a great deal besides, but it was a cracking change of direction from Lorrell Smith to work himself some space in the penalty area and the ref rightly awarded a penalty.
The game changed on the red card, which Iooked accidental from where I was stood although it was clearly a poor challenge. I wasn't too surprised to see the red card, but what was frustrating for me was that the player who brought down Smith for the penalty should have been sent-off moments later for a late challenge on Akubuine. Having shown him a yellow moments before, the ref bottled it.
After the red card we defended brilliantly and did extremely well to take home a point in the end. A very good point given the circumstances.
