A week’s a long time in football. Never a truer phrase spoken after watching that tonight. What a performance!

Hats of to Chris Wreh for his 4 goals in 10 minutes. Not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. Totally unplayable tonight which to be completely truthful I didn’t see coming.

Thought Smith and Akubuine looked very lively after coming on and both took their goals well.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

First game of the season I’ve missed and that happens... maybe I’ll stay away!
Was listening to the Hitchin commentary during the crazy Chris Wreh 10 minutes and couldn’t believe it, neither could they!! :cheesy:
Perfect result to head into a weekend off and 5 points from 3 games looks pretty decent

After last Tuesday this was the total opposite, credit to the management and players for that performance. You could see the confidence grow throughout the game and probably the most clinical 4 goal spell I have ever seen from Chris. Hitchin are a decent team and football wise better than Newark, just shows the difference when you put the shift in. Everyone played their part and I thought Smith and Aqubuine were excellent when they came on.

Thought we were great last night. Hitchin were by no means a poor side, and we outclassed them for long periods of the game. Chris Wreh was unbelievable for that first 20 minutes and looked a completely different player to the guy I've seen the last two weeks. Long may that continue.

It seems we are very much a confidence team. When Hitchin scored we did seem to lose our way for the rest of the half and the start of the second, but as soon as we scored the 5th, we completely dominated again.

Peaksy got it spot on last night and it's clear that we're so much better with 4-4-2, but I think his changes were effective and made at the right time, which is a rare treat.

Lorrel Smith looks like a class act, and Jesse really impressed when he came on and definitely deserved his goal. There's a decent player there for sure. Shame Tom Lorraine couldn't get on the score sheet last night, those 3 goals he needs seem to be looking over him a touch. I'm desperate for him to get them, he deserves the 100 do much.

Great performance all round last night. COYD
