If today's cancellation was at our end it could mean this weeks games cancelled and no more friendlies before the season commences for us. A bleak prospect indeed.

Still awaiting an update from our Club promised in the the initial tweet announcing the postponement.

I'd seen a message earlier in the day that Daventry were asking for a physio to help out as theirs was isolating. Maybe that was the reason it was cancelled?

I saw that as well, and considering there are pics of our kit hanging ready in the changing room, it must have been Dav who cancelled. Personally I was pleased as I thought we'd played enough games for 1 week, and we could risk injuries. Also the Chown's Mill roundabout was closed and getting there could have been painful.

My suspicion is, and it is only MY suspicion, that we have covid situation in our camp and that our remaining friendlies are in doubt. No announcement yet suggests to me that lengthy discussions are taking place. Just hope I am hopelessly wrong.
