Very excited about tonight's game. Personally I don't feel nerves, maybe they'll kick in later, but this is a bonus game as far as I'm concerned. I hope the players treat it as such and play without fear. The only expectancy is that they all give maximum effort.

Just typed Witton into google to see what they are saying about it, nothing is the answer to that, but someone has jumped the gun a little, as the opening page has the usual bit about the Club and it shows the league they are in as Northern Premier, Premier Division mind you on the home page of the Clubs site it has the league table and we are above Stocksbridge, so change those travel plans for later and get on the A1 to Spalding. Not sure if the lack of activity on the Witton twatter page is due to lack of support or nerves, lets hope it's the latter and it's spreading like wildfire through the Club, I mean nobody could finish that far in front and not go on to win the playoffs could they?

We've had precipitation in many forms in Wincham already this evening - rain, sleet and hail with some thunder and lightning earlier. At least the bitterly cold wind has died down, but after avoiding the worst weather that winter might throw at us it might be that we are getting it in April. At least there is plenty of cover.
