Re: Justin Edingburgh
Has been discussed earlier on the 'Former Players' thread and when the news came through on Saturday at Hayden Road that Cobblers were losing 2-0 early on to the Posh we were agreed that he was on borrowed time.
Interesting analysis of his tenure at Sixfields from the Northampton Chronicle & Echo:-

Re: Justin Edingburgh
In the article it says they barely tested any of the teams they faced.
Part of me would like to see that continue, then Kelvin Thomas may just see that the players aren't good enough and it wasn't necisarily the fault of Justin.

Re: Justin Edingburgh
Problem has been that Justin and the previous manager, Rob Page, had a hard act to follow in that Chris Wilder is an exceptional manager at that level and is now showing it with Sheffield United in the Championship.

I would suggest the players that have been brought in are plenty good enough for that level. Problem is he's brought in so many new players it takes time for it to gel. Time he didn't have.diamondgeezer1 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2017 1:25 pm In the article it says they barely tested any of the teams they faced.

I always felt that a lot of Cobblers fans were willing him to fail from the start, maybe due to his R&D connections.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
