From the Official Club Stats we have been awarded 6 penalties this season, prior to yesterday. Scoring 3 and missing 3.
The three we have scored resulted in getting all three points at Nuneaton (Farrell), but against Biggleswade (Hicks) and Needham (Farrell) we still lost anyway.
The missed penalties were against Banbury (Farrell) Alvechurch (Hicks) and Stourbridge (McLeod) which we won anyway.
So yesterday Shariffs was the first miss that has cost us any points

Re: Penalties
I have now looked at the consequences for penalties conceded.
We have conceded 7 penalties. 6 scored direct and one scored on the rebound.
The only penalty that has cost us points was at Hitchin (1-1) when they scored in last minute.
In the SLCC Needham scored penalty in their 2-1 win.
In both games against Stratford we conceded a penalty. In the away game we lost 1-3 anyway and in the home game we won 4-2 so neither penalty decided the result.
At Biggleswade we lost 1-3. That was the only time Ben Heath saved the penalty but they scored on the follow up.
At Tamworth we lost 0-3
At Leiston we still won the game 3-2.
So as far as League points are concerned, Penalties in our favour have yielded two extra points (at Nuneaton) and against us have cost us two points ( at Hitchin). Plus of course the missed penalty at Coalville cost us a point.
So our net loss is just one point. Will it prove crucial at the end of the season?
I have just looked at the bare figures, not when in the match the penalties are given which can have a bearing on the rest of the game.
