Hayden Road - Pitch & Ground Maintenance Updates
Quick update - just to let you know that Mark Panter (Groundsman) has been doing basic pitch maintenance since the end of the season, with basic seeding/fertiliser/cutting and a bit of watering, to keep things from getting out of hand, and making it harder to recover when the pitch is needed again. This also includes general weed spraying and mowing/strimming around the ground outside the pitch as well.
More comprehensive pitch works are planned in due course.
Obviously all other works (generally done with our volunteers), are currently on hold at the ground. We have some changing room floor repainting planned, as well as various pitchside fence repairs/painting, some new internal posts/fencing, and other minor routine summer maintenance, to be looked at later in the summer.

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch Maintenance Updates
All initial pitch work is now done - earlier this week the levelling, seeding, top dressing and specific area repairs (extra seeded/sheeted) were complete as well as a full pitch feed.

Re: Hayden Road - Pitch Maintenance Updates
With quite a few wet days over the last couple of weeks, Mark's not had to use the sprinklers quite a much...
The pitch is coming along nicely for whenever it is needed.
