Now confirmed that he's signed for Southend.

Rene Howe according to his Twitter appears to have left Bedford. Asking for clubs within a 45 minute radius of Watford and after his season last season I can imagine clubs will be offering him wages we can't compete with... but I hope Burge at least asks!

If he can't commit to Bedford due to the travelling time, I really can't see him coming to us, a club at the same level with considerably less £!
