Actually there is one positive about it (and ONLY one! ;) ), at least it has a proper collar, our first shirt since the brilliant Fila one that has a proper collar.
It's still f**king vile though!

Brilliant fans forum this is going to be. Instead of talking about ways of improving the club, we'll be talking about the new away kit.

Re: New Kit announced
Looking closely at this kit, it's a macron one, which suggests that we've renewed our deal for next year. Of course I could be wrong, but I would think that means that we will retain this season's home kit (though possibly with a change of sponsors since the Haart deal is up at the end of the year).therushden wrote:maybe we'll have a red home kit?

Re: New Kit announced
I dislike that kit..................a lot !!
When we went to AFC Dons recently it was interesting that in the matchday programme and in the bar there was a array of kits FOR THE FANS to choose what they wanted next season. That kit is hideous - where the hell has that blue come from??!! I like the yellow kit and gawd only knows why it has been changed.
Why can't the fans get more involved in selecting kits? The club make money from replica kits, and there is no way I'll buy that - a real shame......................mind you, if we wear it at Oxford/Luton and win the play-off semi I may have to rethink that strategy ;)
Its still horrid though !!
I presume Keith chose it, he hasn't got much wrong as Chairman, but this...............???? Last time we had a blue away kit it was disasterous for us, one of the unluckiest kits I think we've ever had !!!

Re: New Kit announced
I love it!!!! I'll definitely be getting one for the playoffs and might even get a new one for next year with the new sponsor.
A very intelligent marketing move by the club as well as i'm sure despite everyone on here's initial disgust at the kit a few of you will come round in time for the playoffs. Also i'm sure that a few of the returning fans will want to buy a shirt having not been able to get one from the club shop in anything under XXL for the past few weeks. If we were to get promoted in this shirt i'm sure it wouldn't hurt the shirt sales!
