This game represents a critical point in our season. A win and we face Spalding with confidence but anything else and we face impossible games against Spalding, Khalsa and Harborough. Until we find that elusive goalscorer we have little hope of survival.

Agreed, I actually would go out on a limb and say this is a must win if we are to have any hope of survival, unless we'll go and surprise Spalding and Harborough and Corby over Xmas.

We're not playing too badly and no one is outplaying us, yet the table doesn't lie, we are very adrift and if we don't pick up points in December then we are effectively down once again in January. Problem is, as I've said in previous threads, it's like we are stuck in a losing mentality, where they say good teams can play badly and still win, we seem to play well and still lose, 4 straight 2-1 defeats shows that.

And I know finding a goalscorer is proving impossible right now, but we've got to at least try and sign someone, we haven't signed a striker in a while, even if it from a UCL step 6 side.

A striker is paramount,any more defenders is not going to lift us out of the mess we are in,a goalscorer is what we need.It has to be somebody who is not afraid to have a go from anywhere near the goal not try to walk it in from close in,a player with confidence who expects to score,not for someone who hopes they will score.If we have to look in a lower league so be it,a goalscorer will score goals in any league if he has confidence.

I would have hoped (by now) that with Harrimans league contacts /experience, we could get a striker in on loan from Posh, Don's, etc, but we don't seem to be following that option at the moment for some reason
I can only assume that we are not an attractive enough option for league clubs

Weather for tonight and tomorrow says no rain but Tuesday not so good. It's a real shame if game to be off again as we need to keep momentum going and this is a game with a potential for 3 points.

I can see that my comment could be misinterpreted. My meaning is to keep playing games. Not keep stuttering with weather interruptions.
