It was a good effort in very trying conditions by the whole team but it did feel like another 2 points got away from us, even though it was a good penalty save by their keeper. Lots of good stuff to build on and I liked the new guy Callum in midfield.
We're a cutting edge short of the play offs IMO, but plenty of room to get some momentum behind us.

One sour note was the injury to jarvis Wilson. Appeared to be a knee injury and he left the field at half time on crutches. Hopefully not, but he could be out for a while with that sort of injury, not the sort of player to fake it. Being light in that position and harriman not really looking to play himself, maybe a dual registration or loan player might have to come in

Dreadful weather and always a bad time of year for non league attendance just a shame this fixture fell when it did.Olly wrote: Sat Nov 23, 2024 10:19 pm Yeah I was very disappointed with the crowd as well, fully expected at least 600 for a derby, almost think we might have got more on a Tuesday night if the weather wasn't as horrid!
The weather clearly had a big impact everywhere, even K*ttering's crowd for all their success lately was half of what they have been getting recently. Two sub 100 crowds in the division today.
Don’t read anything into the crowds up the A6, they have only had one gate over 1000 and that was for August bank holiday v Harborough until the 2 home games when they handed out vouchers for the FA Cup match all of a sudden 1800 v Redditch then 2100 v Bedford. The non supporting supporters now have their tickets for next Sunday and have returned to whatever they usually do on a Saturday afternoon (no Jim you don’t need to make any suggestions as to what that might be!!)

Corby's crowd dropped to 480 this week , at least 200 under their normal especially against Kelsa, also as i stated previously the Higham sparkle was on as well

According to Non League Crowds on X, we had the fourth highest attendance across the country at Step 4

Clearly attendances across the board were down massively on Saturday. For 430 to be the 4th highest crowd at Step 4 is fairly abysmal. I was disappointed again like everyone else with the crowd, but that does provide some solace that attendances were down everywhere.Easton Diamond wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2024 8:32 pm According to Non League Crowds on X, we had the fourth highest attendance across the country at Step 4![]()
