Tired legs, nothing to play for, it's certainly been a soulless end to the season. One win in 9 now? There has large parts of this season where we have been really really poor, with a odd promising game or run of games that have collected enough points to keep us above water. Defence has been a particular issue all season and our goal difference shows. Let's hope for some more consistency next season.

The defence has an excuse, so many injuries to key players.
Our main problem was lack of goals. The Birmingham binmen are better strikers than any of ours.
Also a lack of a commanding figure in midfield and too many signings just not good enough for Step 4.
I am not very optimistic for next season unless we get a new sponsor ASAP.

It's been a combination of both what Jim and Sussex have said. Our defence has changed too much but generally has done OK and gritted out a few wins, but midfield has not created enough going forwards and for much of the season Jamal was a lonely figure up front. I'm sure he probably set himself a target of 20 goals this season, but unable to take enough of the half chances that came his way. A big shame really cos he puts in the work.
It's also a shame to lose Ports we need to replace him with someone who has contacts.
We are finishing poorly and it just needs to end now, let's hope Long Eaton have an eye on the play offs.
