Shane Huke
Not been much talk on today's performance, as most people's mind is set of the "Twatters" fans, but Huke was superb today at Centre half, maybe his best position. Was'nt sure before today if he'll be retained for next season, but after today's performance i hope he is. His ariel ability was excellent and even on the deck, he was putting in decent tackle's and sweeping up the play.
Also to comment, Osano was brilliant in an unfamilar position, with some great burst's forward. Good job for Robbo he's as good as he is, as Curtis may have become the regular left-back!

Re: Shane Huke
Huke has been a strange signing.
Anyone who saw his debut at AFC Wimbledon, like me, would have thought we had a hell of a player on our hands. Then he was truely awful against Crawley, but i have to say he has gradually improved since then and put in a truely brilliant performance today.
I'd like to see him in central midfield again, because he was quality there, but he has proved he can do a job at CB too.

By the sounds of it, we can't.Mad Dog wrote:Why not have two if we can afford it!?Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:I think the versality contract will go to Huke or Corcoran...

Re: Shane Huke
I would suggest that it may be one of the midfielders who would make way, as mentioned HUke's main role tends to be in CM, but it is fantastic that he has the opiton to be so versatile! Imo it will be Patto that leaves.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:By the sounds of it, we can't.Mad Dog wrote:Why not have two if we can afford it!?Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:I think the versality contract will go to Huke or Corcoran...

Re: Shane Huke
The quick interchange between Gallen and Craddock, whilst the defence was stretched as it tried to cover Newton's run, was pretty difficult to defend against.
Looking at the highlights, his work to find space and get in a cross to Farrell, just after Farrell came on, showed he's got decent skill too.
