Alan Power...

Post by Jordio »

Apparently we are offering him a trial.

Not sure if he's going to want to sign for us if he's just moved back to Ireland!

Could this be the 'league one midfielder' we are due to be signing at the end of the week?
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

When I first saw this, got it confused with Lee Power, I got really scared that him and Hill were getting involved again or something

Sounds like an interesting find, I would FM10 him but my disc seems to have lost itself ;)

I love relating FM10 to real life. Every time one of my FM legends plays in real life, they are usually the best player on the pitch ;) Its very accurate!

"He used to partner Mark Byrne in central midfield in the Nottingham Forest reserves, not to compare people to each other but they are very similar players in their style of action and all round displays,"

So my jokey comment was actually spot on.... good signing however I think this definitely marks the end of our pursuit for Byrne.

Still, I think he was always too good for another season here, so hopefully Power will do a good job in his place. :)

Or do I dare even suggest that Power and Byrne may be our midfield partnership at some point next season. Apparently according to the ET, they are both good friends. Could this sway Byrne to come back for at least six months?

I hope you are right, but i suspect it means Byrne will not return this year. Maybe the best we can hope for his him to have a poor season fro Forrest reserves or whichever league club hes goes to on loan, and then gets released so we can have him the season after!!! Keenan sounds like an interesting enough player aswell. JE like signing midfielders doesn't he!!!!
