Pink strip
Pink strip
Just a very random idea I just had - thought I might as well post it up on here so you can all point out the logistical and financial flaws ;)
The club could produce a pink strip, only to be used in our FA Cup games. The shirt could be sold in the club shop on a pre-order basis (so we don't lose money if enough people don't buy it), with 50% of the profits going to the Supporters Trust and club, and 50% of the profits going to Cancer Research UK (who could be on the front of the shirt).
Even if the profit for the club is minimal it would still get some nice media attention for us, and obviously any money going towards cancer studies is going to a good cause.
What do you think? Would you buy a once-off charity shirt?

Re: Pink strip
I'd absolutely buy one, a nice Palermo-style salmon pink shirt would be much nicer than our boring, normal colours.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Re: Pink strip
We should get Duane's face celebrating against K*tt*ring printed upside down on the inside of our shirts for the Derby game  (the Darby game even LOL)

Re: Pink strip
Regarding the ordering, i dont think you can just order one here and one there because its not cost effective. I'm not certain but i feel like i had that conversation with someone at the club when i was sending emails back and forth regarding the Darlington shirt idea a few years ago.
Re: that Darlington shirt idea, i guess that is off the agenda. It was a bloody good idea too in my opinion but was conveniently forgotten about.
